The SJM Macao Open is set to return to the Macau Golf & Country Club from October 16-19, 2025. With a prize purse of USD 1 million, this tournament is one of the premier events on the Asian Tour schedule and will feature a star-studded field of 144 players.
This year’s event is headlined by former World Number 1 Lee Westwood, who won the Macao Open in 1999, and two-time PGA Tour winner Sungjae Im, who is making his first appearance in Macao. They will be joined by defending champion Rattanon Wannasrichan, who will look to make history by successfully defending his title. Alongside with legendary Chinese golfer Liang Wenchong and local Macao player Kelvin Si.
The tournament is jointly organised by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, title sponsor SJM Resorts, S.A., and IMG, and co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Macau Golf Association. SJM has extended their partnership with the tournament for another two years, building on its commitment to advancing the integration of ‘Sports + Tourism’ in Macao.
